How To Do Google Ads Keyword Research + 6 Keyword Mistakes You Want To Avoid
Discover the best ways to find profitable keywords for Google Ads.
Keywords are one of the most important aspects of a successful Google Ads campaign. You can waste your campaign budget if you are not targeting the right keywords or don’t have them targeted properly.
The two videos below show my keyword research process and explain some keyword mistakes you should avoid.
When it comes to keyword research, I believe in finding the best search intent keywords that will drive conversions. Targeting a keyword like “Hardwood Floor Repair” can bring in irrelevant clicks, whereas targeting a keyword like “Hardwood Floor Repair Near Me” can bring in people looking for a service. The first keyword could include people looking for videos, DIY projects, floor repair kits, and people looking for a service. The second keyword will target the right customer. You can target Broad Match keywords and keywords with broad search intent, but it requires conversion data and negative keywords. However, you want to start a new campaign with the best keywords to avoid wasting your budget.
As a reminder, my Google Ads course is for sale for $34.99. In addition, I am releasing my “From $0 to $5k/Month Roadmap” on my YouTube membership. It will be the best training for growing a SaaS business, driving more clients, and growing your business with Digital Marketing.
